Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has paid tribute to Jamie Mackie, claiming that his side need 11 of him if they are to avoid relegation.
The Scot put in a strong performance and scored for the Hoops during their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.
Despite the club still looking for their first win of the season, Redknapp believes that QPR can stay up this year.
"I thought [Mackie] worked hard," said Redknapp. "He gives you effort. He runs around. He works hard. He gives you honesty.
"If you had 11 Jamie Mackies you wouldn't be in this trouble, would you?
"I know just how difficult it is. We must not stand here and kid ourselves. If we pull this one off, my God, it will be a miracle but I believe in miracles so I've got to keep trying."
QPR remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League.
