Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke is reportedly a big doubt for his side's La Liga clash with Real Madrid on Sunday evening.

The Spanish international picked up a thigh problem in the 2-0 win over Eibar on September 19 and has not featured for Diego Simeone's side since.

It had been thought that the 23-year-old would return for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Benfica, but the midfielder has not been included in the squad.

According to AS, Koke is now facing a race to be fit for the Madrid derby this weekend, which will take place at the Vicente Calderon.

Koke has already racked up more than 200 first-team appearances for Atletico since making his debut in the 2009-10 season.
