Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has claimed that it is for 'the good of everyone' that Eden Hazard does not play for Belgium in their Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Having suffered a thigh injury before the start of the season, Hazard will miss his third successive La Liga fixture this weekend.
However, while the summer arrival from Chelsea is nearing a recovery, Zidane has revealed that he does not want to see the playmaker feature against either San Marino or Scotland.
At a press conference, the Frenchman told reporters: "Legally he can travel with Belgium but at the moment he cannot play.
"He knows that, we do too and I hope he doesn't play, for the good of everyone, including Belgium."
Real will hope to have Hazard available when they host Levante on September 14.
