New Real Madrid head coach Rafael Benitez has conceded that he will be expected to guide the team to victory in every game next season.
The emotional 55-year-old was officially unveiled as the new boss of his boyhood club earlier today.
Looking ahead to the demands that will be placed on him in his new role, the Spaniard is well aware of the pressure that comes with being in charge at the Bernabeu.
"The team must be competitive [and] capable of reaching the end of the season with chance to win trophies," he told reporters.
"The Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey are our objectives, as Madrid must win each game. Can we win it, sometimes yes, sometimes no, as this is football.
"But the idea is to try and win from the first game, that is what I inherited here, regardless of the competition."
Benitez has previously played for and coached Madrid's youth teams.
