Fabio Capello: 'Real Madrid are better than Barcelona'

Russia boss Fabio Capello says that his former club Real Madrid are now a stronger side than Barcelona.

Russia boss Fabio Capello has claimed that Real Madrid are now a better team than Barcelona.

Barca have dominated La Liga in recent seasons, but Capello believes that his former club are slowly regaining control.

"This Real Madrid can be spectacular and win everything. They possess a squad where they can make quality changes and are better than Barcelona, while Carlo Ancelotti has tremendous personality and is excellent," Capello told Onda Cero.

"He always chooses the best players. Previously he was a coach who was against everyone and didn't want the problems to be the fault of the players.

"Carlo is part of the team . He is a long-term coach who is perfect for Real Madrid, for his style, his seriousness..."

Real Madrid currently top La Liga on 24 points.
