The agent of Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has admitted that his client is 'unlikely' to return to Flamengo on loan during the January transfer window.
Madrid agreed a deal to sign the Brazilian for £38m when he was just 16, but were unable to complete the transfer until the youngster turned 18.
The move went through this summer, but the teenager has not yet represented the Spanish club's first team.
Vinicius has been with Real Madrid Castilla since moving to Spain, and it had been suggested that the Brazilian would seek a return to Brazil at the start of 2019.
However, his agent Frederico Pena has played down talk of a winter departure.
"The contract has no option for a return," Pena told Globoesporte. "The move is what it is, any return to Flamengo in January is not likely."
Vinicius scored 14 times in 69 senior appearances during his time with Flamengo.
