Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has labelled suggestions of a January approach for Real Madrid midfielder Isco "bullshit".
The Spaniard has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu, resulting in frequent speculation regarding his future.
Having worked with the playmaker during his time in La Liga, it has been claimed that Ancelotti wants to secure a reunion with the 28-year-old.
However, the Toffees manager has dismissed recent reports which has indicated that a mid-season transfer could be in the offing.
Speaking to DIRECTV Sports Co, the Italian said: "It is not true that I am behind Isco.
"We haven't started thinking about the team for the January market. So those comments are, as they say here, bullshit."
Real are allegedly open to selling Isco for a fee in the region of £18m.
