Real Madrid fringe striker Borja Mayoral has revealed that he intends to quit the club this summer in search of more regular playing time.
The Spain Under-21s international has been restricted to just three La Liga starts this term, despite first-choice striker Karim Benzema netting only five times.
Mayoral took his latest chance well by scoring in Los Blancos' 2-1 win against Leganes on Saturday evening, but that may be his last goal for the club as he wants to move on.
"I'm sure I'll have to leave at the end of the season to find regular playing time somewhere else," he told Gol.
"At the end of the day, it's been two years now for me without getting many minutes and I think I need them, I'm young and I need to be playing. There are a few games left and I don't know what will happen."
Robert Lewandowski and Mauro Icardi, of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan respectively, have both been linked with moves to the Bernabeu.
