Everton reportedly make an approach for Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon, who may be allowed to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Everton.

After the Toffees only finished in 12th position in the Premier League table, Carlo Ancelotti is eager to make significant changes to his first-team squad.

Despite the presence of Lucas Digne, Sky Sports News claims that an offer has been made for Real's out-of-favour left-back Reguilon.

Although he made a positive impression at the Bernabeu in 2018-19, the Spaniard was loaned out to Sevilla for the most recent campaign, where he has made 34 appearances in all competitions.

With Marcelo and Ferland Mendy higher in the pecking order at Real, Everton are allegedly keen to sign the 23-year-old in an £18m deal.

The La Liga champions are expected to be open to cashing in on the player ahead of the new season.
