Juventus 'most likely destination for James Rodriguez'

James Rodriguez will be offered a route away from Real Madrid by Italian champions Juventus once his Bayern Munich loan deal expires, according to a report.

Juventus have reportedly expressed an interest in signing James Rodriguez and are the most likely destination for the Real Madrid attacker.

World Cup 2014 star James has spent the past two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich, where he has had mixed success.

The Colombia international is not believed to be part of Madrid's plans under Zinedine Zidane, though, and Bayern seem unlikely to trigger the right-to-buy clause in his loan contract.

Spanish outlet Marca reports that Juve are now the favourites to sign James for the 2019-20 campaign and beyond, with the 27-year-old more open to a Serie A switch than a move to the Premier League.

James has contributed 15 goals and 20 assists in 64 appearances in all competitions since arriving in Bavaria.
