Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has given the clearest indication yet that he will leave the Bernabeu this summer.
The German international is approaching the final few months of his contact with Los Blancos and talks over a new deal have stalled.
Khedira, 27, has struggled to overcome a succession of injuries this season, but it is understood that his stock is still high.
"Am I open to [joining] Schalke? I'm open to many teams," Khedira told reporters after Real Madrid lost 4-3 to Schalke 04 in the second leg of their last-16 Champions League clash on Tuesday.
A return to the Bundesliga has been mooted as Khedira's most likely destination, despite strong interest from the Premier League.
