AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek is reportedly desperate to join Real Madrid and is even prepared to be second choice to number one striker Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.
Piatek scored 19 times in his first 21 appearances for Genoa before earning a move to Milan, where he finished last season with 11 goals in 21 outings in all competitions.
The 24-year-old has struggled for consistency this term, though, managing just three goals in 12 Serie A appearances for his Italian club.
According to reports in Spain, Piatek regrets not joining Madrid when he was offered the opportunity in January, and the forward is hopeful that another chance to move to the Bernabeu will arrive.
Piatek is even allegedly prepared to accept not being the Spanish club's number one forward if it means that he can complete a dream move to Zinedine Zidane's side.
Luka Jovic was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt over the summer with a view to battling Benzema for the starting role, but the 21-year-old has only managed one goal in 11 appearances for Los Blancos this term.
