Brahim Diaz reportedly wants to stay at Real Madrid and challenge for a first-team spot, rather than going out on loan for the duration of the 2019-20 season.

Real Madrid have ruled out a loan exit for Brahim Diaz for the 2019-20 season, according to a report.

Speculation in Spain on January deadline day suggested that Los Blancos were seeking a temporary new club for the 19-year-old, who only joined from Manchester City three weeks ago.

A move did not go through in time, though, and AS indicates that the Spain Under-21s international is against the idea of going out on loan next season.

Diaz believes that he is ready to challenge for a first-team spot at the Bernabeu and, if not, he is open to learning from some of the best players in the industry each day in training.

Madrid are said to be in agreement with the youngster, who has already made three appearances from the bench for his new side, totalling 24 minutes on the field.
