Luka Modric will reportedly be given the freedom to decide his Real Madrid future this summer.
The Croatia international has a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2021, but it has been suggested that the 2018 World Cup finalist could seek pastures new at the end of the current season.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Madrid have told Modric that he is free to leave if he wishes, although the Spanish outfit are also happy to keep him for another 12 months.
The midfielder remains a key player for Zinedine Zidane's side, making 29 appearances in all competitions this season, contributing five goals and five assists in the process.
Modric will be 35 later this year, though, and he has been rotated in and out of the starting XI in recent months due to the emergence of the energetic Federico Valverde.
David Beckham's Inter Miami have previously been linked with the veteran.
