Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo reportedly has no plans to leave this summer despite receiving interest from Liverpool.

Real Madrid forward Rodrygo reportedly has no plans to leave this summer despite his refusal to rule out a potential departure.

Rodrygo has registered 54 goals and 41 assists in 215 matches since joining Real Madrid from Santos in the summer of 2019.

The forward has been a regular fixture in Carlo Ancelotti's side this season, having started 42 of his 50 competitive appearances.

Rodrygo has scored 17 goals and provided nine assists to help Real Madrid clinch the league title and the Spanish Super Cup.

With five of those goals taking place in the Champions League, Rodrygo has played a key role in Real Madrid's journey to Saturday's final with Borussia Dortmund.

Rodrygo not planning to leave Real Madrid

While he is expected to start at Wembley, Rodrygo has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital due to the imminent arrival of Kylian Mbappe.

The Frenchman is widely expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, and his arrival could see Rodrygo lose his place in the starting lineup.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool are believed to be among several Premier League clubs showing an interest in the Real Madrid man.

The Reds would have been encouraged by Rodrygo's recent comments after he refused to rule out a departure when asked whether he wanted to stay at the club forever.

Rodrygo told DAZN: "Yes. Well, anything can happen. I have a contract here, but I don't know. The years I've been here have been a pleasure for me."

While Rodrygo offered no guarantees over his future, journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the 23-year-old has no intention of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer despite the looming arrival of Mbappe.

Rodrygo remains happy at Real Madrid

The update claims that Rodrygo is happy with his situation at Real Madrid, demonstrated by the fact he signed a new long-term contract in November.

Rodrygo signed a new deal to extend his Real Madrid stay until the summer of 2028, with the contract containing a €1bn (£849m) release clause.

The forward will have the chance to claim his second Champions League winners' medal in Saturday's final showdown with Dortmund.

Having started in 11 of the club's 12 European matches this season, Rodrygo is expected to line up in a front two alongside his compatriot Vinicius Junior.
