Real Madrid have reportedly been given first option on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
According to Marca, Los Blancos see him as a replacement for Xabi Alonso and will make a move when the 31-year-old's contract runs out next year.
The Spanish newspaper claims that Jurgen Klopp has agreed to stay with the Borussians provided that he loses no more of his first-team players.
Dortmund are still seething with Mario Gotze's sale to Bayern Munich, and remain unclear of the future of Robert Lewandowski.
It is reported that Gundogan will cost around €25m (£21.4m).
