Report: Premier League duo offered Mateo Kovacic

A report claims that both West Ham United and Everton have been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic in this summer's transfer window.

West Ham United and Everton have both reportedly been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

The Croatian international only joined Real from Inter Milan last August, but struggled to make his mark during the 2015-16 campaign and it is understood that he will be shown the exit door this summer.

Roma were believed to be close to signing the 22-year-old, but according to the Daily Mail, the midfielder is keen on a move to the Premier League, with West Ham and Everton both on alert.

Kovacic represented his country at the European Championships in France this summer.
