Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a bid for Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The goalkeeper was part of the Bosnia-Herzegovina squad at the World Cup, but he has returned home from Brazil following their elimination at the group stage.
According to the Daily Star, Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on signing Begovic, with the futures of Diego Lopez and Iker Casillas uncertain.
It is believed that Lopez is set for a move to Italy, while Casillas has been heavily criticised for his performances for Spain at the World Cup.
The report goes on to claim that Ancelotti tried to sign Begovic twice while he was the manager of Chelsea and he would face competition from Arsenal for his signature this summer.
