Report: West Ham United looking at Alvaro Arbeloa

West Ham United are interested in signing Real Madrid right-back Alvaro Arbeloa, according to a newspaper report.

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa.

The 32-year-old has fallen behind Dani Carvajal and Danilo in the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu, and it has been suggested that he will quit the La Liga giants.

West Ham are said to be looking at new right-back options after Carl Jenkinson's loan from Arsenal expired at the end of last season.

According to The Metro, the Hammers have identified Arbeloa as a potential addition.

The former Spain international has experience in the Premier League, having played for Liverpool from 2007 to 2009.

Arbeloa has made 180 appearances since joining Real from Liverpool.
