David Moyes: 'Athletic Bilbao game very important'

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes insists that he is fully aware of how important the Basque derby with Athletic Bilbao is to the club's supporters.

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has admitted the the significance of Sunday's Basque derby against Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.

The Scot has also insisted that he is aware of the rivalry between the two teams and the importance it holds to the club's supporters.

"These games are very important to the fans. I know many fans are traveling from one city to another, the atmosphere is very festive," he told reporters.

"The fans want the team to win, so it's important we give them an answer."

Moyes has taken four points from his three league games in charge of Sociedad.
