Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has revealed that his side are high on confidence as they prepare to face USA on Friday evening.
Strachan has guided Scotland to three victories in their last five games, including two wins over Croatia, and the former Celtic boss is expecting a tough test against Jurgen Klinsmann's team at Hampden Park.
The 56-year-old told reporters: "I hope that they provide us with a good test. They are 13th in the world rankings, and we have tried to put on a friendly that is attractive to the fans and the players of both sides.
"We think that it is well worth their journey to get here, and it's well worth us getting together because we are feeling quite good about ourselves right now."
Strachan has won four out of his eight matches in charge of Scotland after taking over from Craig Levein at the start of 2013.
