Jose Reyes has confirmed that he will stay with Sevilla this season and is determined to prove his worth.
The former Arsenal and Real Madrid winger re-joined his boyhood club in January and is ready to become a key man for the side.
He told EP: "I have spoken to the coach to ask him how he sees my role and to explain to him what I want to mean to the team.
"He wants me to be an important player for Sevilla and I've promised him that I will give 100% for the team.
"We have a good squad that is united, thanks to the coach. He has rules for all to follow and is doing important work. He's asking a lot from the team, but we will only benefit from it."
The 28-year-old has signed a deal with Sevilla that lasts until June 2015.
