Southampton will again be without the injured Mario Lemina against Burnley this weekend, according to Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino has announced that Mario Lemina will be unavailable against Burnley this weekend.

The midfielder missed the 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion last Sunday with an ankle problem and, according to the Saints boss, is not yet ready to return.

Charlie Austin, who has yet to start a league game this season, has returned to training having also missed the Brighton game and he is in the squad for the encounter with the Clarets.

"Mario continues his treatment," Pellegrino told Sky Sports News. "I would expect after the international break maybe Mario can train with the team.

"But Charlie has been training with us this week. He was training well, but it's just Mario that is the only one that is out of the squad."

Southampton's next game after the international break is on November 18 when they travel to Liverpool.
