Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino quells rumours that Gaston Ramirez and Rickie Lambert could leave this summer.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has denied that Gaston Ramirez and Rickie Lambert will leave this summer.

Inter Milan have been strongly linked with a move for Ramirez, while Lambert is reported to be attracting interest from West Ham United.

However, the Saints manager has insisted that neither player will depart the Premier League outfit in this transfer window.

"We expect Gaston [Ramirez] to stay. I didn't know there was any interest in Rickie [Lambert]," Pochettino told reporters at a press conference.

Southampton recorded a 3-1 win over Besiktas in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
