Mauricio Pochettino: 'We need to be more clinical'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is adamant that his side need to get back to winning ways but is wary of the threat posed by West Bromwich Albion.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that his side need to become more clinical in the final third to keep in touch with top teams in the Premier League.

Spurs have failed to win their last three matches in all competitions following their stalemate against Partizan in their first Europa League game.

Pochettino feels that his side have to get back to winning ways, but is adamant that it will be a far from easy task against West Bromwich Albion.

"It's important we beat West Bromwich Albion so we can stay in touch with the other teams at the top of the table," Pochettino told reporters.

"West Brom are getting better game by game and we know they will make it hard for us.

"We have to remain focused on what we need to do so we can compete with the same intensity we played in the first two matches. We need to be more clinical in both penalty areas."

Spurs face West Brom on Sunday at White Hart Lane.
