James Rodriguez has reportedly threatened to seek a move away from Real Madrid if the club completes the signing of Christian Eriksen in January.
The Colombia international left the Bernabeu to join Bayern Munich on loan in 2017 after manager Zinedine Zidane left him out of his first-choice starting XI.
However, Rodriguez has become an important part of the Madrid side during the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign, making seven appearances in all competitions.
According to a report from Spain, the 28-year-old will ask to leave Los Blancos if the club moves to sign Eriksen in January.
It is claimed that Eriksen, who was keen on a move to the Bernabeu in the summer, would be available in January for £31m.
Tottenham's hierarchy are determined to secure a transfer fee for Eriksen, whose contract expires next summer, meaning that he would be available as a free agent in June.
