Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to securing the services of Franco Baldini as the club's new technical director.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is believed to be keen on implementing a continental management structure at White Hart Lane, with Baldini expected to sign up following his exit from Roma yesterday.
It is understood that Baldini will take charge of the transfer policy and scouting system at the club, according to BBC Sport.
The 52-year-old previously worked as assistant manager to Fabio Capello during his stint as England manager.
