Midfielder Harry Winks has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur are slowly becoming the dominant team in North London.
Spurs head into Saturday's derby with Arsenal with a four-point lead over their fierce rivals, and the advantage comes with Spurs having challenged for the Premier League title during the previous two seasons.
The Gunners had previously held the edge in the area, but Spurs academy graduate Winks feels that the Whites are now regarded as one of the best teams in the top flight.
The 21-year-old told Soccer AM: "I'd like to think things are starting to change a little bit. We are playing really well and hopefully we can get a result when we play them.
"I'd say the balance is tipping because over the past couple of years we have become serious contenders in the Premier League. We're up there fighting and we consider ourselves one of the strongest teams in the league.
"Arsenal is the one fixture we all look for. It's a game that's close to the fans, to me and to all of the boys. It's a game we want to win.
Winks has recovered from an ankle injury to take his place in the squad for the game at the Emirates Stadium.
