Atletico Madrid prepare bid for Roberto Soldado?

Atletico Madrid will make a bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado in the summer, according to reports.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly made Roberto Soldado their number one target ahead of this summer's transfer window.

Soldado has struggled to hit top form during his debut season with Tottenham Hotspur following his £26m move from Valencia last summer.

Atletico could be willing to offer the striker an escape route as they look to add to their options at the end of the season, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

Diego Costa has won many admirers with his impressive form this season for Atletico and his possible exit could make way for Soldado's arrival.

Tottenham's Spanish forward has scored five times in his first Premier League campaign.
