The overall spending for Gareth Bale's proposed move to Real Madrid could reach £150m, according to The Express.
It has been suggested that the £90m transfer has yet to be finalised because Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy wants Madrid to agree to a clause that will see Spurs pocket another £10m if Bale is sold to a Premier League club within four years.
Added to Bale's salary, which will reportedly be £54m over a five-year contract, this would bring the total to £154m.
Levy will also reportedly stall the deal until after today's derby match with Arsenal.
