Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a new deal with Los Blancos.
The Croatia international remains a key player for the La Liga champions at the age of 35, although his current deal runs out in six months' time.
Modric has since been heavily linked with a return to former club Tottenham Hotspur, where he would link up with ex-Blancos boss Jose Mourinho once again.
However, according to Marca, Modric is prepared to commit his future to Real Madrid until the summer of 2022, by which time he will be 36.
The midfielder has previously insisted that he is happy at the Bernabeu and would love to end his career in the Spanish capital, where he has won two La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns since arriving in 2012.
Modric has already turned out 20 times in all competitions for Zinedine Zidane's team this season, scoring three goals and setting up one more.
