Paul Merson has dismissed Tottenham Hotspur's chances of being able to raise £200m through the sale of Harry Kane.
Although the 26-year-old has a contract with the North London outfit until 2024, speculation persists regarding a future move elsewhere.
Despite a fee of £200m being mentioned in the past, Merson feels that Spurs can "forget" about receiving such a fee for the frontman's services.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the former Arsenal midfielder said: "I can definitely see him going and if Spurs fans want even worse news, it won't be for anywhere near £200m.
"Kane is an extremely decent player and seems to be an equally decent bloke, but can I see him moving on? Oh, yeah. Anyone expecting £200m can forget it. Football is going to have a drastically changed market in future."
Manchester United allegedly have no intention of attempting to meet Kane's valuation during the next transfer window.
