Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly hold out for £17m before sanctioning the sale of Christian Eriksen after Inter Milan bid £13m for his signature.

Inter Milan have reportedly made a £13m bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen as they look to secure the Dane's signature this month.

Eriksen is out of contract in the summer and free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January.

According to The Telegraph, Inter want to sign the former Ajax man this month and feel £13m is enough for Spurs to part way with a player that is soon to be out of contract.

The report adds that the North London outfit value Eriksen closer to £17m, with talks between the two clubs set to continue.

The Denmark international has played far less for Spurs this season than in the past, making just 10 Premier League starts so far.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has reportedly been in London this week in an attempt to complete the deal, but nothing is yet agreed.
