Tottenham Hotspur are interested in both Pedro Neto and Eberechi Eze ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly singled out Pedro Neto and Eberechi Eze as their two main transfer targets for the summer.

After spending big on sorting out defensive issues with the arrivals of Micky van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario and Pedro Porro over the past 12 months, and the emancipation of Destiny Udogie into the side, bolstering their attack seems to be next on the Spurs agenda.

Ange Postecoglou's high-octane style of play demands pace and endurance, and the club spent substantial fees on James Maddison and Brennan Johnson over the summer.

In addition to those two recent signings, The Independent claim that another pacy wide attacker is on Postecoglou's wishlist ahead of next season.

Spurs hoped to bring in one of their top targets in January, but inflated transfer fees made that impossible, so Timo Werner was signed on loan for the rest of the season instead.

While a decision has not been made on whether they will look to sign Werner permanently, Spurs are said to have their sights on either Neto or Eze, given their respective form this season.

Eze plays predominantly in the centre at Crystal Palace, but with Maddison likely to occupy that role at Tottenham, that could force him into a wide area should he make the switch.

However, Spurs are believed to have big rivals in the chase for Eze's signature, as Manchester City are also interested in the 25-year-old, following strong links throughout the summer.

Despite injury scuppering Eze's campaign on more than one occasion so far this season, the England international has contributed to eight goals in 20 Palace games, following on from his 10 Premier League goals last season.

The same can be said for Neto, who has endured much injury torment over the past two-and-a-half years, but when fit this season, he has turned on the style at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Neto has already matched his most productive season in England, with two goals and nine assists in 17 Premier League games so far.

It is therefore no surprise that Wolves are commanding a huge fee for Neto just south of £100m, but his recent injury record will deter Spurs from spending such a large amount.

The report states that negotiations would take place for that valuation to come down slightly if the two sides are to agree a deal, with Wolves potentially needing to sell in order to stay in line with PSR regulations.

Spurs already have plenty of attacking reinforcements in their ranks, and the likes of Heung-min Son, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski will look to get the better of Eze's Palace when they meet in the Premier League on Saturday.
