Tottenham Hotspur director Sir Keith Mills reveals that the club's summer transfer business is far from finished.

Tottenham Hotspur director Sir Keith Mills expects the club to continue their summer business and has revealed that manager Andre Villas-Boas wants to sign another striker to help their push for Champions League qualification.

Spurs have twice broke their transfer record this summer, firstly to bring in Brazilian midfielder Paulinho and then to recruit forward Roberto Soldado from Valencia in a £26m deal.

Nacer Chadli's £7m switch from FC Twente means that the Lillywhites have spent just short of £50m in squad improvements for this campaign, but Mills anticipates even more additions before the end of the window.

Mills told the Evening Standard: "This summer, we are investing in a great squad and we hope that provides us with Champions League football next year and we start to win trophies, FA Cups. That is what Tottenham need.

"We have made some good acquisitions. There are others in the pipeline. Strikers are very high on AVB's list of priorities and Daniel Levy is trying to make sure we have strength up front. It's a really exciting time to be at the club."

Mills has admitted, though, that Spurs may struggle to keep hold of PFA Player of the Year Gareth Bale amid strong interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
