Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a January bid for AC Milan's French starlet M'Baye Niang.
The 18-year-old joined Milan from Caen after turning down the advances of clubs across Europe last summer, including Arsenal and Chelsea.
Niang made 24 appearances in all competitions during his debut campaign but has barely featured so far this season, with a niggling injury partly to blame for his absence.
Milan are top-heavy in attack this campaign after adding Alessandro Matri to a strikeforce that already included Mario Balotelli, Stephan El Shaarawy, Robinho and Giampaolo Pazzini.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is believed to want a young forward to provide long-term competition for Roberto Soldado at White Hart Lane, with Niang's situation being monitored closely in North London, according to The Metro.
Soldado's signing has left Jermain Defoe facing the prospect of reduced playing time in the Premier League this season, while Emmanuel Adebayor has been frozen out altogether.
