Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to allow Stefan de Vrij to leave the club in January amid links with Tottenham Hotspur.
After playing a key role in the Nerazzurri's 2020-21 title-winning campaign under Antonio Conte, the centre-back is being tipped to reunite with the Italian at Spurs.
De Vrij has remained a vital player for the Scudetto winners following Simone Inzaghi's appointment, but his deal is due to expire in the summer of 2023.
Fellow centre-back Milan Skriniar is also set to become a free agent in under two years' time, and Calciomercato reports that Inter are only prepared to offer the Slovakian an extension at San Siro.
As a result, the report adds that De Vrij will be free to leave in the summer of 2022, and the Netherlands international has supposedly informed his friends that he would be open to a move to North London.
Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old, who has scored eight goals in 139 games for Inter since arriving in 2018.
