Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly determined to bring Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie to the club.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for the Old Lady during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring twice in 13 appearances in all competitions, and he played the full 90 minutes in their recent Champions League wins - home and away - over Zenit St Petersburg.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham 'really like' the central midfielder, and new head coach Antonio Conte is pushing for him to arrive in North London at the start of 2022.
The report, though, claims that McKennie's recent form has led to Juventus raising their asking price, with Spurs now needing to pay more than €20m (£17m) to sign him.
The United States international initially represented the Old Lady on loan from Schalke 04 during the 2020-21 campaign before completing a permanent move to Turin.
In total, the central midfielder - contracted to the Black and Whites until June 2025 - has scored eight goals and registered three assists in 59 appearances for Juventus in all competitions.
