Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to sell Emerson Royal for £20m during this summer's transfer window.
Since making the £25.8m switch from Spanish giants Barcelona to North London ahead of the 2021-22 term, the defender has made exactly 100 appearances across all competitions for the Lilywhites.
That being said, Royal has struggled to earn regular first-team action under new Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou during the 2023-24 campaign.
The right-back has fallen down the pecking order for the Lilywhites, starting just 11 Premier League matches as his side chase down a top-four spot.
Royal, a former Real Betis player, has international pedigree of the highest order, though, featuring for Brazil over a five-year spell since October 2019.

Tottenham set asking price for Royal
According to Football Insider, Tottenham have informed Royal that he is free to leave the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The report claims that Spurs are willing to listen to offers of £20m for the 25-year-old, who was signed for £25.8m from Barca three years ago.
It is understood that Royal is not part of Postecoglou's long-term plans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, meaning that a summer move is on the cards.
Apart from in England with Spurs, the right-back has only played in Spain since moving from Brazil in January 2019, at Real Betis and Barcelona.
Heading into the prime of his career, Royal could opt to stay in Europe's top-five leagues as he continues to fight for a spot in Brazil's senior side.

Falling out of favour
It is believed that Postecoglou and Spurs are looking to make a number of additions to their defence over the summer, targeting centre-back and full-back positions.
Royal's game time in North London has been severely restricted due to the arrival and form of Pedro Porro at right-back during the 2023-24 term.
Porro has started 32 Premier League matches for the Lilywhites, meaning that Royal has been Postecoglou's second option on the right side of the backline.
The season-ending injury suffered by Destiny Udogie has helped the Brazilian's minutes, though, starting at left-back in the last two matches.
