West Ham United have reportedly joined the race to sign Freiburg centre-back Robin Koch when the transfer window reopens.
The 23-year-old recently suggested that he is ready for a new challenge after three years at Freiburg, alerting a number of clubs to his potential availability this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United and Norwich City are all understood to have sent scouts to watch him this season, and the Daily Star reports that West Ham have now also registered their interest.
Manager David Moyes is reportedly in the market for centre-back reinforcements in order to increase competition for Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna.
Freiburg turned down a bid of around £17.5m for Koch from RB Leipzig during the January transfer window, but the report suggests that he may now be available for less than that sum.
The coronavirus outbreak has seen Freiburg's asking price decrease, while the Germany international will only have one year remaining on his contract this summer.
Koch, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, has made 26 appearances for Dortmund this season, scoring two goals.
