Sunderland defender Titus Bramble has been hit with a third charge of sexual assault following a hearing at Teesside Magistrates' Court.
The Black Cats player was in court on allegations of inappropriately touching two women on separate occasions in September. However, the 30-year-old was informed that he will face an additional charge relating to one of the incidents.
The player's solicitor, Phil Smith said: "Titus very much looks forward to the opportunity to clear his name at his trial in the crown court."
Bramble, who pleaded guilty to the original charges, will face trial at Crown Court in the near future.
