Garry Monk: 'No plans to leave Swansea City'

Garry Monk states that he has 'no plans' to leave Swansea City with contract talks underway.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has stated that he has no desire to leave the Premier League side.

The 36-year-old confirmed that preliminary contract talks had begun to secure his long-term services at the club.

"Of course I'm ambitious but I have no plans any time soon for that to be changing. But who knows in the future what happens?" BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"You either do well and possibly move on, or you don't do well and you get sacked. It's going great at the moment, I'm really enjoying it and I want to try and commit to Swansea for the future."

Swansea, who are currently eighth in the table face Manchester City tomorrow afternoon in their penultimate game of the season.
