Watford are reportedly keen to appoint Walter Mazzarri as the club's new manager following the departure of Quique Flores.
The Hornets announced this morning that the Spaniard will vacate his post at Vicarage Road when the season ends on Sunday.
Flores guided the team to Premier League safety in comfortable fashion, 12 months after they earned promotion from the Championship.
The 51-year-old, who was appointed by Watford last summer, also took the team into an FA Cup semi-final, but a disagreement with the board has led to his exit.
According to Goal.com, former Inter Milan and Napoli boss Mazzarri is poised to sign a three-year contract with the Hertfordshire club.
The 54-year-old, who has been out of work since getting sacked by Inter in November 2014, won the Coppa Italia with Napoli in 2012 and finished runner-up to Juventus in Serie A the following year.
