Watford have reportedly rejected Everton's approach for manager Marco Silva and will not consider any further offers for the coach.
Sky Sports News reports that, despite speculation, Silva will now stay at Vicarage Road and continue with his current contract.
The 40-year-old has been strongly linked with the Everton job, which became vacant when the Toffees sacked Ronald Koeman in October.
Caretaker manager David Unsworth has been filling in at Goodison Park and his only victory in five games came against the Hornets this month.
The report also says that Silva is interested in talking to Everton but due to the absence of a break clause in his contract, negotiations are set to end between the two clubs.
