Gianfranco Zola has been pleased with the way that the Watford squad have taken to his appointment as manager.
The Italian replaced Sean Dyche earlier this month following the takeover at Vicarage Road by the Pozzo family.
Despite the controversial circumstances under which he was handed the job, Zola has revealed that every member of his team has been open towards his ideas.
"What pleases me most is their willingness to accept a high volume of new information," Zola told the club's official website.
"That is a very good sign and something we can build on."
Zola will take charge of the Hornets for the first time tonight during a pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood.
