Werder Bremen manager Florian Kohfeldt has extended his contract with the club.
The 35-year-old coach has entered a new deal which will keep him at the Bundesliga outfit until 2021, according to Sky Sports News.
Kohfeldt took charge of Bremen in November last year and has since guided the club from second-bottom to 12th in the table.
"Florian has played an important role in the development of our team. He's led the team out of a tricky situation with his clear ideas and philosophy," read a statement posted on the official Werder Bremen Twitter account.
Bremen are next in action on Friday evening when they travel to Hannover in the Bundesliga.
