West Ham United have reportedly had their bid for Connor Wickham turned down by Sunderland.
It was claimed earlier today that the Hammers had submitted an offer of £4m for the England Under-21 international.
However, the Black Cats have no interest in letting the striker go, despite the fact that he has just 12 months left to run on his contract at the Stadium of Light, according to Sky Sports News.
Wickham, who spent time on loan in the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United last term, made 18 appearances as Sunderland retained their Premier League status last season.
