West Ham United must increase their £9.5m bid for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk's Yevhen Konoplyanka to stand a chance of signing the player, a report suggests.
ESPN's sources claim that the winger has a £12m release clause in his contract with the Ukrainian side, who are planning to reject the initial offer.
Konoplyanka, who almost joined Liverpool in January, has also been linked with Manchester United.
The Ukraine international would become West Ham's second most expensive signing if the London club shells out £12m on him, eclipsed only by Andy Carroll's £15m move to Upton Park.
