West Ham United have closed in on signing Andre Ayew after reaching a £20m agreement with Swansea City for the forward, according to a report.
The Swans will reportedly delay any deal until bringing in another attacking option, however, which could see United look elsewhere in their own pursuit of a new striker.
Fernando Llorente complete his switch to the Welsh outfit from Sevilla on Friday, while Atletico Madrid's Borja Baston is also thought to be close to putting pen to paper, but Francesco Guidolin is said to be after at least one more player.
Ayew, who scored 12 goals in 34 games for Swansea last season after being signed as a free agent, could join up with brother Jordan at the Olympic Stadium as the Hammers look to finalise a double swoop before the start of the new Premier League campaign.
Sky Sports News reports that a fee has been agreed between Swansea and West Ham, although any move is dependent on the Swans' incoming business in the coming days.
