Newcastle United and Crystal Palace reportedly emerge as the latest clubs to express an interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Rayan Ait-Nouri has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

Having had to remain patient during the opening weeks of the season, Ait-Nouri has since established himself as first choice at left wing-back, making a total of seven starts in the Premier League.

The eye-catching performances of the 20-year-old are said to have attracted the interest of Paris Saint-Germain, who are familiar with the player from his time with Angers.

According to Jeunes Footeux, Newcastle and Palace are also monitoring the situation ahead of making a big-money approach for the youngster.

Unless Wolves receive an offer in excess of £30m, they are likely to reject any bid without hesitation, Ait-Nouri regarded as their long-term option on the left flank.

Ait-Nouri also only penned a five-year contract at Molineux earlier this summer, leaving Wolves in an extremely strong position with regards to his future.
